Future Language Lab



A symbol may contain various expressions under one emotion category in hypothetical future communication circumstances.

There are also differences in mental activity and how the brain sees itself internally. Future language patterns were created using the rule of brain waves in conjunction with the six fundamental emotions of happiness, anger, sadness, joy, surprise, fear, and love.

What is Femininity?



Since the term "feminism" became popular in China, the government and citizens have tried to figure out how to achieve the feminist society that the Chinese people want. Outsiders' concerns about the feminist topic caught my attention after interviewing and defining the problem. In this project, I designed a card game to guide outsiders about feminism and encourage them to bring new insights.

This project is my UX Visual Design course assignment when I exchanged at Columbus College of Art & Design. There were 3 parts I made improvement of the Bird scooter ride sharing app. The first part was to prevent multiple riders, the second part was to make start time quicker and the third part was to improve brand recognition.

Fight with rumors



School bullying has always been a hot topic in today’s society. People tend to focus on physical or more visible forms of bully- ing, but verbal bullying is often overlooked.

This project is a rumor-themed project that presents invisible bullying on campus through the activity of sending letters. When I received vitims’ letters I illustrated their stories. In this way, it calls attention to invisible bullying and encourages victims to face it and take measures to protect themselves.

Artificial Truths



The future Internet utopian society encourages its users to live in a loving, peaceful world.

Algorithms are comparable to the Minitrue workers of 1984. It will recognize undesirable elements and swap them out with “harmonious” features that, in the algorithms’ estimation, indicate “love and peace.” In this civilization, algorithms will take advantage of appealing cat images to persuade more people to share the truth.

Pastoral Feminism



“Pastoral feminism” is a new phrase appearing in Chinese online environment. They wear the cloak of feminism while convey the biased concept of feminism. Usually feminists pursue gender equality, whereas pastoral feminists pursue a female-dominated culture and consider that men need to take on more or unreasonable responsibilities for women.

The Ideal Woman Box



Traditional values are to blame for disabling gender equity in China; although media censorship is ultimately responsible as it forces Chinese society into a social harmony narrative, placing Chinese women into a limited framework to maintain social order.
